The Full Monty coming to the stage in a hilarious, heartfelt production Directed by Jen Ellis, making her directing debut with Captive Audience Theatre Group.
Based on the smash-hit, Oscar-nominated film, this drop-dead funny comedy drama tells the story of six unemployed steelworkers in Sheffield.
Facing financial ruin, broken relationships, and plummeting self-esteem, these down-on-their-luck friends hatch an unlikely plan to make some quick cash for Gary to pay his ex-wife some child maintenance.
Inspired by a touring troupe of Chippendales dancers, they decide to stage their own one-night-only strip show. But there is a twist that will change everything: they promise to go “the full monty” and take it all off!
As they prepare for the big night, these lovable misfits must conquer their fears, insecurities, and body-image anxieties. What begins as a desperate bid for money transforms into a powerful journey of friendship, family devotion, and self-discovery. Together, they discover they are stronger as a team than they ever were alone.
The Full Monty is a celebration of triumph over adversity and the enduring power of community. It is the ultimate feel-good night out. Do not miss your chance to cheer on these everyday heroes as they bare it all. Book your tickets now before they sell out!
