Welcome to Captive Audience. We are a theatre group offering youngsters opportunities to learn and grow through Drama and giving adults opportunity to get involved with a show.
Based in the heart of Belper, our Saturday sessions for youngsters are held at Strutts Community Centre, Derby Road, DE56 1UU.
We also hold our show rehearsals at Strutts.

Knock knock… Who’s there?
Why, it’s the Vicar of Dibley of course! The committee have decided that sending another TV crew to Dibley is no,no,no,no,no,no,no not what the small village needs; so, the only sensible thing to do is bring Dibley to the audience right here instead. And whilst Alice may not always understand the Vicar’s jokes, we know you will.
This performance is a enactment of the Vicar of Dibley episodes: The Arrival, The Easter Bunny, Engagement, and Love and Marriage. The Captive Audience Youth Group are performing alongside our adult actors in each performance.
